How to Achieve Your 2021 Goals 10 Times Faster… № 9 is Very Important

When it comes to the end of a year. most people suddenly remember that they’ve not achieved enough in the last 12 months and they regret that.

In order to have a better New Year, some people result into what they call “New Year Resolution” while others set goals for the New Year. The problem with the New Year resolution is that, statistically, 80% of people forget it before February 15th while most people give up on their goals just after few weeks of the New Year.

In this article, I’ll be sharing with you how you can stick with your goals and achieve them 10 times faster.

№ 1: Set Specific Goals

When you have a look at what some people call goals you will be surprised.

Some people’s goals is; “I want to be rich”, unfortunately, that’s not a goal but a mere wish. To achieve your goals, it all starts from setting very specific goals: I will make $200,000 this year is an example of a specific goal.

Setting specific goals is very important because your mind can only pursue what it understands and it can only understand what is specific. So, make sure your goals are written in specific terms

№ 2: Get Your Friends to Make You Accountable

I sometimes share my goals with my friends, the reason is because if you are aware that other people know about your goals, you will not want to be ridiculed by your friends for not achieving your goals.

I’ve seen some people sharing their goals on social media or their blogs, this is good because when we know that other people will hold us accountable we are more inspired to pursue our goals.

Take for instance, if you share your goal of losing 30 pounds with your friends on social media you’ll be careful not to look the same at the expiration of the time set. So, you’ll be disciplined to go to the gym and say no to some foods you know are bad for you.

№ 3: Focus On Days And Moments Not A Year

According to a Tibet saying; “If you take care of the minutes, the years will take care of themselves”.

At the end of it all, the whole concept of one year is a myth. None of us is living in a year or a month or a week, we are all living in a day at a time in moments.

Don’t look at a year as what matters because what really matters is the moment. If you want to achieve your goals fast you pay attention to how you spend your days you won’t achieve your yearly goals if you wake up every day to the social media waste 5 hours daily on TV reality shows and Hollywood gossips

To achieve your annual goals you must see each day as precious above anything and anybody you must respect time. If you’re comfortable wasting time you can’t achieve your goals. To better utilise your time, I advise you set daily goals or write 3 to 5 things you want to achieve each day. This To-Do list will keep you from doing things that don’t matter.

№ 4: Decide Three to Five Things That Waste Your Time Most Last Six Months

Sit down and make a list of five things that wasted your time most in the last six months. What are they and how can you fight them?.If it’s social media, how many social media accounts do you have? If you have three social media accounts, can you delete two of them? Can you sell your TV set? 😂😂.

I know so many people can’t do this but if you really want to achieve your goals you’ll do away with anything that wastes your time because your goals need you to invest a lot of time before you can accomplish it. I deleted my Facebook accounts last year after I noticed how much time I was wasted on the platform.

Figure out what is wasting at and clear them off your way so that you have more time to invest into accomplishing your goals

№ 5: Read Books About People Who Have Achieved What You Want.

Abraham Lincoln said if I have six hours to cut down a tree I’ll spend the first four to sharpen my axe.

If you want to achieve your goals. it will be better and faster if you can read some books from people who have achieved such goals before.

Let’s say you want to lose weight or make more money this year, simply look for people who have achieved such goals in the past and read their books.

By reading the books about people who have achieved what you want to achieve you can learn from their mistakes and this will make your journey faster.

№ 6: Gets People To Do What You should.

Too many people waste their time doing what they can employ other people to do. The implication of this is that by the time you waste time doing what others can do for you, you won’t have the time to do what you should do and you won’t be able to achieve your goals.

Learn how to delegate others to do for you what you should do.

№ 7: Don’t Dream Big

Well, that’s not what I wanted to say, I mean don’t set big goals that your mind can not perceive to be achievable simply because some motivational speaker told you to think big.

Take for instance, if you’ve been an employee all your life; don’t set goals that you’ll start a business and make a million dollars the first year.

What happens when people set unattainable goals is that, they get motivated for the first two to three weeks then get discouraged because they don’t see any progress.

If your mind cannot see it, you can’t pursue it.

Don’t set goals that are ridiculously bigger than your mind or else you’ll get discouraged after few weeks of pursuing your goals.

№ 8: Make It Simple

I really set more than ten goals at a time. I often set five to seven goals; simple and specific. By the time you set 50 goals, you’ll be confused and won’t be motivated.

Make it simple so that your mind can comfortably go for it

№ 9: Hang Around Doers

Too many people in the world are talkers, they talk about what they want and what they wish but they do nothing about their desires. If all your friends are talkers, you won’t pursue your dreams.

Make friends with doers, people will wake up each day to pursue their goals, people who don’t make excuses, people who are self motivated and determined to go through tough times and situations.

Make friends with positive minded and action-oriented individuals, and you’ll achieve your goals ten times faster because they will inspire and challenge you to pursue your goals

№ 10: Listen To Motivational Audio Programs

At the end of it all, life is tough. It’s easy to set goals but difficult to make the sacrifice required to achieve the goals. That’s why you need daily motivation, you just need someone to push you every day and the best way to get such people is to listen to motivational audio programs and speeches every day.

You can do this every morning when you wake up or when you are on your way to work; this will keep you charged and motivated throughout the day .
